I don't pretend to be as strong as you in your religious convictions, but I respect them, I respect YOU, and I am grateful that all turned out as I and all your friends hoped.

Mom and Christina are now not the only ones reading your words.

Thank you for letting me read them as well.

I just had meningioma surgery in April. If you are not aware of it, there is a fairly informative discussion board at
http://meningioma.webexone.com/login.asp?loc=&link=

I was led to believe the tumor could was accessible for surgery and the estimated time under the knife was 2 hours. It took 8 hours and I just found out this week with a follow up MRI that there is likely tumor remaining and I may have to have Gamma Knife (focused radiation) to remove the remainder.

I have some weird facial sensations that the Neurosurgeon says are likely hypersensitive facial nerves. I think the facial nerve or trigeminal nerve was disturbed and produces the sensations.

All this to say -- get a second opinion and ask many questions. From the discussion board you can get a list of 28 multipart questions put together by Anne Breene -- also a great deal of info re: her experiences with these tumors -- she's had multiple surgeries.

hope this is helpful.
you will find me on the discussion board under the name of 'dialtone'.

Hey old friend! In arrogantly searching for my name on Google, I found this post. Our political journeys are similar. Hope all is well!

My song wasn't "sappy!" OK, maybe it was, but I credit it with giving Bush the victory that year. I think it was you and me vs. Nicole and Amy Nairn, wasn't it?

Anyway, glad to find your blog. I'll try to keep up.

Well,

I could not pass up the invitation at the bottom of your post to the GWNA site about a punch bowl for the Christmas Pot Luck, that led me to outlines, speeches and now, this blog.

Being a curious and social sort of person, I read on and on for at least an hour (not the fastest reader in the world, and savoring some very humorous spots) letting out full belly laughs from time to time :)

However, this is not one of the laughable postings. although the corners of my mouth turned up at the introduction. Being a strong believer in my God's loving care for all His creatures a desire to have those who are His as brothers for the Christ I will join others, I am sure, in requesting that he bring your physical condition to it's proper ending with no harm to the host. With this faith, "full steam ahead" can be the only direction.
